“The Big Bang Theory,” others among 1st batch of nominees for Golden Globes

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 13 — “The Big Bang Theory,” “Episodes,” “Girls,” “Modern Family” and “Smash” have become the nominees for the 70th Golden Globe Awards for best television comedy series.

The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) announced the first batch of possible contenders Thursday morning.
