New Zealanders’ satisfaction degree is high and the life of the young and senior citizens is most comfortable.
According to the 2011 NZ social survey released yesterday, most New Zealanders are satisfied with their current life.
It is reported that 87% New Zealanders are “satisfied” or “very satisfied” with their present life.
80% subjects would visit their parents who are not living with them at least once 4 weeks, and 96% said they can get support from outside their families when they are in need.
The satisfaction degree of the young people less than 25 years old and those over 65 years are higher than that of the middle-aged people.
The statist Paul Brown suggested that the survey shows the middle-aged people are suffering from more pressures of their work and family.
The 2010 NZ social survey began in April and ended in March with responses from 8,550 people.
