Libya unveils exhibition specializing in telecommunication

Sponsored by the General Telecommunication Authority of Libya ( GTA), the exhibition specialized in the fields of communication and information technologies and was regarded as the main annual event in Libya.
In the opening ceremony, Minister of Communications Usama Saila said that such an exhibition provided an opportunity for local companies to meet the international manufacturers and service providers, and a chance to discover the trends of telecom and information technology (IT) sectors in Libya, as well as unveil new projects and plans for the telecom and IT sectors.
According to the organizers, the four-day exhibition attracted 200 companies from eight countries and nearly 75 local representatives.
