(NZweek, Auckland) – The hacker Rafael Rivera dedicated to crack Windows Phone, found out that WP7 has marked the users’ location without their permission.

Rafael Rivera figured out while observing the sending-receiving packet of Windows Phone system that even if the users choose not to share their location while using the camera, the WP7 still sends their location to Microsoft server. If this is true, Microsoft has to eat its words for claiming not to collect users’ information.

According to the Microsoft spokesman, the company is investigating the claim resolution mentioned by users in the lawsuit of infringing privacy and Microsoft will handle it seriously as the top priority. Microsoft aims to provide complete and safe operating systems for the users and it’s always the aim even in WP system designing.
